Description
A 48-inch linear pendant with seven opal glass shades, finished in matte black and opal matte glass, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Amelia collection draws inspiration from 1920s architecture, pairing bold geometric forms with rich metallic finishes and opal glass accents. This linear pendant features a rectangular canopy and seven sockets, each accommodating a 60W E26 bulb (not included). The matte black steel frame contrasts beautifully with the opal glass shades, creating a sophisticated industrial look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the island for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Open-concept living areas where a linear fixture defines the dining or kitchen zone
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees, thanks to the adaptable canopy
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft where a 48-inch fixture may overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
With seven 60W sockets, the maximum brightness is up to 4200 lumens (assuming 600 lumens per bulb) - equivalent to a bright overhead light suitable for a large kitchen or dining area. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambient glow. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 47.75 inches long, 6.38 inches wide, and 8.38 inches high. The rectangular canopy is 22.12 inches long and 4.75 inches wide. It is sloped ceiling adaptable up to 45 degrees. Recommended for ceilings 8 ft or higher.
