Description
A 12-inch, 1-light vanity light with a matte black finish and opal glass shade, perfect for bathrooms and powder rooms seeking Art Deco charm.
The Nouveau collection draws inspiration from the chic era of 1920s Paris, featuring curved metal detailing and vintage-inspired structure. This wall/vanity light combines matte black metal with opal glass, offering a versatile look that complements both traditional and transitional bathrooms. The up/down mounting style allows for flexible installation above or beside mirrors.
Best for
- Bathrooms with single or double vanities, mounted above a mirror for ambient lighting
- Powder rooms where a compact, decorative fixture adds character
- Hallways or entryways as accent lighting in damp-rated spaces
Not ideal for
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting—this fixture uses a single 40W bulb (bulb not included)
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain—rated for damp locations only, not wet
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (max 40W incandescent equivalent). With a standard 40W bulb, expect about 450 lumens—similar to a traditional nightlight or accent level, suitable for ambient illumination rather than primary task lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you choose. The opal glass diffuser softens and distributes light evenly, reducing glare. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
Fixture measures 6 inches wide, 11.38 inches high, and extends 7.38 inches from the wall. The round canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. Ideal for vanities 24-36 inches wide when centered above the mirror.
