Description
A 16-inch, 1-light pendant from the Emiko collection, finished in matte black with a sweeping metal shade inspired by classic Japanese roofs.
Inspired by classic Japanese roofs, the Emiko collection encompasses the essence of Wabi-Sabi style design. With sweeping, organic shades forged from metal and finished in luxe matte black, this pendant is minimal yet has a style all its own. Perfect for adding a sculptural focal point above a kitchen island or dining table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter as a single statement piece
- Dining tables 36-48 in round or square, centered for ambient dining light
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 ft ceilings, creating a dramatic first impression
- Open-concept living areas where a minimalist pendant complements modern decor
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces under 7 ft ceilings - the pendant hangs 9.25 in from the canopy, plus chain or rod length
- Primary room lighting in large spaces - single 60W bulb provides accent rather than full illumination
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W E26 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED bulb, expect 800-900 lumens - suitable for task lighting over a table or island, but not as a sole room light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is user-selectable. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The metal shade directs light downward, creating a focused pool of light.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 9.25 in high x 16 in diameter. Canopy is 5.12 in diameter x 3 in high. Sloped ceiling adaptable. Hanging length can be adjusted with field-adjustable rod or chain (not specified).
