Description
A 14-inch, 1-light pendant in matte black with clear glass shade, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms where a focused downlight with modern style is needed.
The Emerson collection offers versatile design with five unique shade shapes and metallic details. This pendant features a matte black steel canopy and clear glass shade, creating a clean, contemporary look. It accepts one standard E26 bulb (not included) up to 60W, and is sloped ceiling adaptable up to 45 degrees.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung 30-34 in above the counter
- Dining rooms with a 36-48 in round table, centered above
- Entryways or hallways as a single statement pendant
- Spaces with 8-ft or higher ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms needing high light output - this is a single 60W fixture
- Spaces requiring a damp-rated fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used. With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent (about 800 lumens), it provides ambient or task lighting for a small area. Not suitable as a primary room light for large spaces.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. Use a 2700K-3000K bulb for warm, inviting light, or 4000K for a cooler, more modern feel. The clear glass shade provides unobstructed light distribution.
