Description
A 1-light pendant from Kichler's Vath collection, finished in black steel for a sophisticated industrial look.
The Vath pendant combines clean lines with mixed finishes that add decorative interest to the frame. The curved top softens the industrial aesthetic, making it a versatile addition to living areas and workspaces without being too fussy.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, hung 30-36 inches above the surface
- Living rooms and home offices as a focused task light over a desk or reading nook
- Entryways and hallways with 8-9 ft ceilings, used as a single statement piece
- Open-concept spaces where a compact pendant adds architectural interest
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright, general illumination - this is a single 75W incandescent fixture best for accent or task lighting
- Sloped ceilings without a slope ceiling kit (not included)
How bright is it?
With a single 75W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant delivers approximately 1100 lumens - similar to a standard 60-75W bulb, suitable for task lighting over a small table or accent lighting in a living area. Not intended as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Uses a standard A19 medium-base bulb (not included). Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - warm white (2700-3000K) is recommended for a cozy, inviting glow. Not dimmable.
