Kichler Triad 40in 3-Light Linear Chandelier | Industrial Olde Bronze and Clear Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | 40 x 12 x 23 in | Model 42548OZ

A 40-inch linear chandelier from Kichler's Triad collection, featuring three layered glass shades in clear and frosted finishes, finished in Olde Bronze.

This generously sized linear chandelier makes a bold statement with its refined structure and casual style. The combination of clear outer glass and frosted inner glass creates a soft, inviting light that complements contemporary and transitional interiors. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining rooms, and large living spaces.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the counter for task and ambient lighting
• Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
• Open-concept living areas where a linear fixture defines the space
• Rooms with 9-12 ft ceilings, using the included 36-inch chain
• Sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees (slope ceiling kit included)

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
• Spaces under 8 ft ceilings - the minimum hanging height is 23 inches plus chain
• Small rooms under 10x10 ft - the 40-inch width may overwhelm

How bright is it?

Uses three 100W A19 bulbs (not included) and three 50W MR16 bulbs (not included). With incandescent bulbs, expect approximately 4500 lumens total - bright enough for a large kitchen island or dining table. LED equivalent bulbs can reduce energy use while maintaining brightness.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The layered glass shades diffuse light, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting glow. The clear outer glass allows some sparkle, while the frosted inner glass softens the overall effect.
