Description
A 27-inch outdoor bollard light from Kichler in textured black aluminum, designed for pathway and garden illumination.
This bollard light features a durable aluminum construction with a textured black finish, suitable for wet locations. It uses a single 11.6W xenon bulb (not included) to provide warm accent lighting along walkways, driveways, and garden borders. Includes 36 inches of wire for easy connection to low-voltage landscape systems.
Best for
- Walkways and garden paths, spaced 6-8 ft apart for even illumination
- Driveway edges and entry gates, marking boundaries with soft light
- Patios and decks, used as low-level ambient lighting around seating areas
- Commercial landscapes where durable, low-voltage bollard lighting is needed
Not ideal for
- General area lighting - this is an accent bollard, not for floodlighting
- Indoor use - designed for outdoor wet locations
- High-traffic areas where the bollard may be bumped - aluminum construction is durable but not impact-proof
How bright is it?
Uses an 11.6W xenon bulb (not included). Xenon bulbs produce a warm, bright light similar to halogen but more efficient. Typical output is around 150-200 lumens, suitable for accent and pathway lighting.
Light color and feel
Xenon bulbs produce a warm white light (approximately 3000K) with excellent color rendering. The textured black housing minimizes glare and blends into the landscape.
