Description
A 5-inch dimmable LED step light in a white aluminum finish, designed for hallways and staircases.
The Kichler Step and Hall Light is a screwless LED step light that provides warm 3000K illumination. Its compact size and white finish blend seamlessly into walls, making it ideal for accent lighting in corridors, stairs, and entryways. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Best for
- Hallways and staircases, mounted low on walls to illuminate steps
- Entryways and mudrooms, providing gentle accent lighting
- Basements and utility rooms, as a low-level night light
- Damp-rated locations such as covered porches or bathrooms (ETL Damp listed)
Not ideal for
- Primary room lighting — delivers only 30 lumens, suitable for accent or night light only
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain — damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting
How bright is it?
30 lumens — about as bright as a 3W incandescent night light. Ideal for subtle accent or pathway lighting, not for illuminating a room.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white — a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI of 85 renders colors reasonably well for accent lighting.
Sizing and fit
The step light measures 5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3.25 inches high. The height center of wall opening is 1.56 inches. It mounts directly to a standard junction box.
