Description
A 36-inch linear chandelier with 5 lights, finished in Distressed Black with checkered safety glass shades, for industrial-style kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Steel collection by Kichler brings an industrial edge to linear lighting. A Distressed Black metal framework holds checkered safety glass panels, with screw-head detailing that enhances the rugged look. The textured glass softly diffuses light, adding visual interest without glare.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the counter
- Dining rooms with rectangular tables, hung 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Open-concept living areas needing a statement linear fixture
- Industrial, loft, or modern farmhouse interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft due to the 10.75 in height plus chain
- Rooms requiring dimmable lighting - this fixture is not dimmable
How bright is it?
Uses five 75W medium-base bulbs (not included). With standard incandescent bulbs, total output is approximately 5000 lumens - bright enough for a large kitchen island or dining table. LED equivalent bulbs can reduce wattage while maintaining brightness.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on your choice of bulbs. The checkered glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambient glow. For a warm feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs; for a cooler task light, use 4000K.
