Description
An 8-light chandelier from Kichler's Samural collection, featuring a black finish and stacked orb design for a modern, minimalist look.
The Samural chandelier combines a two-tone finish with stacked luminaires in an orb shape, creating a ladder effect that delivers ample illumination within a compact footprint. Made of steel, this fixture suits contemporary interiors where less-is-more design reigns.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 48-60 in long, hung 30-36 in above the surface
- Living rooms and great rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, as a central statement piece
- Open-concept spaces where the orb silhouette adds visual interest without overwhelming
- Entryways and foyers with moderate ceiling height, providing a warm welcome
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the 27 in height may feel too low
- Rooms requiring dimmable lighting - this chandelier is not dimmable
How bright is it?
Uses 8 candelabra-base bulbs (40W max each, not included). Total lumen output depends on bulbs chosen; with standard 40W incandescent equivalents, expect approximately 3200-4000 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is user-selectable. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The open orb design allows light to spread evenly, minimizing shadows.
