Description
A 15-inch, 1-light swing arm wall sconce from Kichler's Ruehl collection, finished in lacquered bronze with brass accents, perfect for bedside and living room task lighting.
The Ruehl swing arm sconce offers refined modern presence with a cylindrical shade and vertical cutout detailing. It provides 3 points of rotation: side-to-side, up and down, and a tilting shade via a T-handle knob for precise directional light. An integrated backplate on/off switch and cord-free design make it ideal for reading nooks and workspaces.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light with adjustable arm
- Living rooms, above a sofa or armchair for task lighting
- Home offices, providing focused light for desks
- Hallways and entryways, as accent lighting with adjustable direction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring broad ambient light - this is a task/accent fixture
- Very small walls - the arm extends 14 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With a single 9W A bulb (not included), output is approximately 800 lumens - similar to a 60W incandescent, ideal for reading or accent lighting. For brighter task light, use an LED bulb with higher lumens.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable. The lacquered bronze finish with brass accents creates a warm, rich look. Bulb color temperature is not specified; warm white (2700K-3000K) enhances the bronze tones.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 15 inches in height and 6.5 inches in width, with a 14-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 5.25 inches in diameter. Weight is 3.22 lbs. Hardwired installation.
