Description
A 36-inch oval chandelier from Kichler's Piston collection, finished in black with natural brass accents, for dining rooms and living spaces.
The Piston oval chandelier combines industrial-era style with modern appeal. A black mesh cage forms the structure, accented by natural brass details that add a touch of shine. The open design allows light to filter through, creating a dramatic focal point. This chandelier is perfect for those seeking a bold, industrial look.
Best for
- Dining rooms over a rectangular table, centered for ambient lighting
- Living rooms and great rooms as a statement piece above a seating area
- Open-concept kitchens over a large island or peninsula
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings, hung as a dramatic focal point
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas – this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with low ceilings under 8 ft – the chandelier is 9.25 inches tall plus chain
- Rooms requiring dimmable lighting – this fixture is not dimmable
How bright is it?
With four 75W incandescent bulbs (not included), expect approximately 4800 lumens total – bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium to large dining room or living area. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The open cage design allows light to spread in all directions, creating a warm, ambient glow. The black finish and natural brass accents add a vintage industrial feel. Since the fixture is not dimmable, consider using dimmable LED bulbs with a compatible dimmer if you want adjustable brightness (check bulb manufacturer specifications).
Sizing and fit
