Description
A 7-inch solid brass landscape accent light for decks, retaining walls, and garden pathways, finished in Olde Bronze.
The Kichler Oak Trail accent light is built from heavy-duty solid brass that develops a natural verdigris patina over time. Its compact 7-inch length and low-voltage 12V operation make it ideal for highlighting architectural features or landscaping focal points. The included 6.5W xenon bulb provides a warm, inviting glow.
Best for
- Decks and patios, mounted along stair risers or railings for subtle step lighting
- Retaining walls and garden beds, aimed to uplight shrubs or small trees
- Walkways and driveways, spaced 6-8 ft apart for safe nighttime navigation
- Outdoor kitchens and entertaining areas, accenting countertops or bar fronts
Not ideal for
- Large open lawns or areas requiring broad floodlighting - this is a narrow accent beam
- Direct burial in soil without a protective conduit - surface mount only
How bright is it?
140 lumens from the included 6.5W xenon bulb - about as bright as a 15W incandescent night light, ideal for subtle accent and safety lighting, not for general area illumination.
Light color and feel
The xenon bulb emits a warm white glow (approximately 2700K) similar to traditional incandescent lighting. It creates a cozy, inviting ambiance that complements natural stone and wood finishes.
Sizing and fit
Measures 7 inches long by 3.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches high, with a 71-inch wire lead. The compact profile fits easily into tight spaces along deck boards or wall caps.
