Description
A 1-light pendant from the Kichler Nicholson collection, finished in Olde Bronze with Satin Etched glass, designed for dry locations.
The Nicholson pendant combines a classic silhouette with refined detailing. The Olde Bronze finish has a warm, aged bronze tone, while the Satin Etched glass diffuses light softly. With a 72-inch chain, it can be hung at various heights, making it suitable for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung 30-36 in above the countertop for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table with a 24-30 in drop from the ceiling
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 ft ceilings, hung as a statement piece
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full chain length - the minimum hanging height is about 12 in
How bright is it?
With a maximum 150W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 2400 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or ambient light in a dining room. Using a lower wattage bulb (60-100W) creates a softer glow.
Light color and feel
The Satin Etched glass diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a warm, ambient glow. The actual color temperature depends on the bulb; a 2700K-3000K bulb will produce a warm, inviting light that complements the Olde Bronze finish.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 16 inches wide and 9.5 inches high. It comes with 72 inches of chain and 37 inches of wire, allowing for adjustable hanging heights up to 84 inches total. The round canopy is 6 inches in diameter.
