Description
A 9-light chandelier from the Kichler Monroe Collection, finished in Brushed Nickel with satin etched glass shades, designed for dining rooms and foyers with a traditional Americana twist.
The Monroe chandelier offers a unique take on traditional Americana. The Brushed Nickel metal base is complemented by Light Umber Etched Glass adornments, creating an updated classic look. The nine lights provide generous illumination for larger spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms 14x16 ft or larger, centered above a table for ambient and task lighting
- Two-story foyers with ceilings 10 ft or higher, hung on the included 72-inch chain
- Living rooms with 9+ ft ceilings as a statement fixture
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft due to the chandelier's 38-inch height plus chain
How bright is it?
With nine 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), the fixture can produce up to 9,000 lumens - bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a large dining room or foyer. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The satin etched glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to intimate dining.

The chandelier measures 33.5 inches wide and 37.75 inches high. It includes 72 inches of chain and 34 inches of wire, allowing hanging heights from 38 to 112 inches. The 5.75-inch diameter backplate fits standard junction boxes. Suitable for sloped ceilings.
