Description
A 7-inch wide outdoor wall sconce for covered patios and entryways, featuring clear seeded glass and a black finish with silver highlights.
The Kichler Mercer outdoor wall light combines transitional style with durable Climates material, designed to withstand saltwater spray and UV rays. The clear seeded glass adds texture while the black finish with silver highlights provides a subtle contrast. Perfect for coastal or traditional homes.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where wet-rated fixtures are required
- Entryways and front doors, mounted flanking the door at 60-66 in high
- Garage or side entries needing a durable, weather-resistant light
- Coastal areas where salt resistance is important
Not ideal for
- Direct rain exposure without overhead cover - while wet-rated, the fixture is best under a roof overhang
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient fixture
- Small hallways where the 12-inch height may feel oversized
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (not included). With a standard 75W A19 incandescent bulb, expect approximately 1100 lumens. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage or dimmable LED bulb.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you choose. The clear seeded glass diffuses light gently, creating a warm, inviting glow. For a classic warm white, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 in wide x 12 in high x 8.5 in extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.75 in x 12 in. Height from center of wall opening is 2.4 in.
