Description
A 20-inch outdoor wall sconce with a graceful arched form, finished in textured black with clear glass, designed for entryways, porches, and covered patios.
The Marea 1-light outdoor wall light offers a graceful, arched form that blends architectural simplicity with modern style. Its rounded profile and clear glass create a visual rhythm that delivers a refined glow. This fixture brings understated elegance to entryways, porches, patios and exterior spaces.
Best for
- Entryways and front doors, mounted beside the door for welcoming ambient light
- Covered porches and patios, as a pair flanking the door
- Garage entrances or side doors, providing security and style
- Outdoor hallways or breezeways, adding architectural interest
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover - this fixture is rated for wet locations, so it can handle rain, but direct water spray may affect longevity
- Small spaces under 4 ft wide - the 8-inch width may overwhelm narrow walls
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It accepts one 100W T10 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb, expect about 800 lumens - enough for accent or ambient lighting on a porch or entryway, but not a primary security light.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb choice. The clear glass shade provides a crisp, unobstructed view of the bulb, so choose a bulb with a warm color temperature (2700K-3000K) for a cozy glow, or a cooler temperature (4000K-5000K) for a more modern, daylight-like feel. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches wide, 20.25 inches high, and extends 5.75 inches from the wall. The canopy is 7.5 inches wide and 1 inch deep. It is designed for wall mounting and includes a 6-inch wire lead. The height center of wall opening is 16 inches, meaning the junction box should be placed 16 inches above the desired bottom of the fixture for proper alignment.
