Description
A 1-light pendant in Natural Brass finish from Kichler's Lakum collection, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Lakum pendant features a transitional design with a Natural Brass finish that complements a variety of decor styles. Its compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces, providing focused task lighting or ambient illumination.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in multiples or as a single statement
- Dining rooms with tables 36-48 in wide, centered above the table
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchen areas
- Hallways and corridors needing accent lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft due to 20 in height
- Large rooms requiring high lumen output as primary lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb used (bulb not included). With a standard 60W incandescent bulb (approx. 800 lumens), it provides ample ambient light for a small to medium room. For task lighting, consider a higher lumen LED bulb.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is determined by the bulb you choose. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives warm, inviting light; 3500K-4000K offers a neutral, clean light. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 10 in wide x 10 in deep x 20 in high. The pendant hangs from a single rod (included) and is suitable for ceilings 8-9 ft. For higher ceilings, additional rods may be needed (not included).
