Description
An 18-inch extension downrod for ceiling fans in satin black steel, designed to lower your fan to the ideal height.
This Kichler downrod is made of steel with a satin black finish. It has a 1-inch outer diameter and is 18 inches long, compatible with many ceiling fan brands. Use it to achieve proper clearance and airflow in rooms with high ceilings.
Best for
- Ceiling fans installed on vaulted or high ceilings, extending the fan to optimal height
- Rooms with ceilings 9 ft or higher where standard downrod is too short
- Replacing an existing downrod to adjust fan height
Not ideal for
- Ceilings under 8 ft; a flush mount or shorter downrod would be better
- Fans with a downrod diameter other than 1 inch OD
Style and finish
The satin black finish offers a modern, understated look that complements most ceiling fan styles.
