Description
A 12-inch extension downrod in Brushed Stainless Steel for ceiling fans, designed to lower the fan to the ideal height.
This Kichler downrod extends your ceiling fan by 12 inches, allowing proper air circulation and clearance. Made of durable steel with a Brushed Stainless Steel finish, it matches many fan styles and is easy to install.
Best for
- Ceilings higher than 8 ft where a standard downrod is too short
- Rooms with vaulted or sloped ceilings needing extra drop
- Matching Brushed Stainless Steel fan finishes for a cohesive look
- Replacing a shorter downrod to achieve optimal fan height (8-9 ft from floor)
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft where a flush mount or low-profile fan is needed
- Fans with non-standard downrod sizes - verify compatibility (1 inch O.D.)
- Outdoor use unless the fan and downrod are rated for damp/wet locations
