Description
A 3-light pendant that converts to a semi-flush mount, featuring a Distressed Black finish and Natural Maple wood panels, inspired by mid-century design.
Inspired by the wood paneling that defined an era, the Elbur 3-light pendant/semi-flush mount is a mid-century design that offers decorating versatility. The weather-worn look of the black distressed iron gives it a vintage feel, while the softly curved natural maple panels mirror lines found in 50s and 60s furniture.
Best for
- Dining rooms over a 36-48 inch round table, suspended 30-36 inches above for a retro look
- Living rooms and family rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, used as a semi-flush mount for ambient light
- Mid-century modern and transitional interiors, adding a warm wood accent
- Kitchen nooks and breakfast areas, hung over a small table or counter
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 7.5 ft when used as a pendant, as the minimum height is about 12 inches
- Large rooms over 15x15 ft as the sole light source, since it provides moderate brightness
How bright is it?
Uses three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), producing approximately 4800 lumens total - bright enough for ambient lighting in medium rooms, equivalent to three 100W bulbs.
Light color and feel
With standard incandescent bulbs, the light is warm (around 2700K). The natural maple panels add a warm glow, and the open design allows light to spread. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 18.25 inches wide and 8.5 inches high. Includes 36 inches of chain and 72 inches of wire, allowing a maximum overall height of 47 inches. The backplate is 5.25 inches in diameter. Can be installed as a semi-flush mount for lower ceilings.
