Description
A 7.5-inch LED downlight in white from Kichler, delivering 850 lumens of 4000K cool white light for kitchens, bathrooms, and other indoor spaces.
This energy-efficient recessed light includes an integrated LED module, eliminating the need for bulb replacements. The white aluminum trim blends seamlessly with most ceilings, and the dimmable driver allows you to adjust brightness. Energy Star certified for efficiency.
Best for
- Kitchens and bathrooms where bright, cool white light is needed for tasks
- Hallways and living areas with standard 2x6 or larger ceiling joists
- New construction or remodel projects requiring a shallow, easy-install downlight
Not ideal for
- Wet locations such as showers or outdoor covered areas (rated for damp only)
- Spaces needing warm, cozy light (4000K is cool white; consider 3000K for bedrooms)
How bright is it?
850 lumens - comparable to a 60W incandescent bulb, sufficient for general room lighting in small to medium spaces.
Light color and feel
4000K cool white - a neutral, crisp light that enhances contrast and is ideal for task areas. Not as warm as 3000K, but less clinical than 5000K daylight.
