Description
An 18.25-inch 1-light pendant from Kichler's Birkleigh collection, finished in classic gold with satin etched glass, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Birkleigh pendant features a simple geometric overlay pattern that adds dimension and visual interest. The classic gold finish and satin etched glass create a warm, inviting glow, making it a perfect addition to both traditional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, intimate atmosphere
- Entryways and foyers, hung at varying heights for a dramatic statement
- Living rooms, used in pairs over a coffee table or seating area
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or damp locations - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet - the pendant hangs down significantly, requiring adequate clearance
- Areas requiring bright, focused task lighting - the satin etched glass diffuses light softly
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (bulb not included). It accepts one 100W A19 bulb (E26 base). With a 100W incandescent (approx. 1600 lumens), it provides bright ambient light. For a softer glow, use a 60W bulb (approx. 800 lumens).
Light color and feel
The satin etched glass diffuses light evenly, creating a soft, warm glow. When paired with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb, the light is warm white, complementing the classic gold finish and creating a cozy atmosphere. The fixture is not dimmable.
