Description
An 18-inch, 3-light flush mount ceiling light from Kichler's Alton collection, finished in Chrome with Clear Seeded glass, ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
The Alton flush mount features a contemporary design with a Chrome finish and Clear Seeded glass that adds texture and diffuses light. The steel construction ensures durability, and the fixture is rated for dry locations. It provides ambient lighting for low-ceiling spaces.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms where a low-profile fixture is needed, such as over a bed or in a walk-in closet
- Entryways and foyers with low ceilings, offering a clean, modern look
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms where high lumen output is required - this fixture is best for ambient or accent lighting
How bright is it?
With three 75W incandescent bulbs (not included), the fixture can produce up to 2700 lumens total - sufficient for a hallway or small bedroom. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.
Light color and feel
The Clear Seeded glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare while providing a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is compatible with incandescent bulbs; for a warmer feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs.
