Kichler Alscar 38in 5-Light Linear Chandelier | Midcentury Driftwood Grey Steel | Dining Room & Living Room | 38 x 7.5 x 11.5 in | Model 44361DWG

A 5-light linear chandelier from Kichler's Alscar collection, featuring a Driftwood Grey finish and midcentury modern oval silhouette.

The Alscar chandelier combines sleek Polished Nickel accents with a dark grey wood-tone finish in geometric shapes, inspired by 1950s and 60s design. Made of steel, this oval fixture adds a retro-modern statement to dining and living spaces.

Best for

• Dining rooms with rectangular tables 60-72 in long, hung 30-36 in above the table
• Living rooms and great rooms as a linear focal point above a coffee table or seating area
• Open-concept kitchens over a large island, providing ambient and task lighting
• Midcentury modern or contemporary interiors seeking a vintage-inspired piece

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
• Small rooms under 10x10 ft - the 38 in length may overwhelm
• Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the 11.5 in height plus chain may feel low

How bright is it?

Uses 5 candelabra-base bulbs (60W max each, not included). Total lumen output depends on bulbs; with 60W incandescent equivalents, expect approximately 4000-5000 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.

Light color and feel

Bulb color temperature is user-selectable. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The open geometric design allows light to spread evenly.
