Description
A 48-inch steel fan downrod in Mediterranean Walnut finish for extending ceiling fan height in rooms with tall ceilings.
This Kichler downrod adds 48 inches of drop to your ceiling fan, ideal for 13-foot ceilings or higher. The 1-inch outer diameter fits most standard fans, and the Mediterranean Walnut finish coordinates with walnut-toned fan blades and hardware.
Best for
- Rooms with 13-foot or higher ceilings where a standard downrod is too short
- Great rooms, vaulted living areas, and two-story foyers
- Matching Kichler fans with Mediterranean Walnut finish
Not ideal for
- Standard 8-9 foot ceilings - use a shorter downrod
- Fans with non-standard downrod diameters (check compatibility)
Style and finish
The Mediterranean Walnut finish is a rich, dark brown with a subtle wood-like appearance, complementing walnut or dark wood fan blades. The steel construction provides strength and durability.
Materials and care
Made of steel with a painted finish. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Sizing and fit
Measures 48 inches long with a 1-inch outer diameter. Fits most standard ceiling fans that accept 1-inch O.D. downrods.
