Description
A 4-inch high LED tape light for under-cabinet task lighting in kitchens and workspaces, delivering 5000K daylight in a white material finish.
The Kichler 8T Tape Light is a low-profile LED strip designed for discreet under-cabinet illumination. Its white material finish blends seamlessly with cabinetry, while the 5000K color temperature provides crisp, daylight-like brightness for detailed tasks. Dimmable and with a high CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it ideal for food prep, reading, or craft areas.
Best for
- Kitchen under-cabinet task lighting, mounted along the bottom edge of upper cabinets
- Workshop or desk areas where focused, bright light is needed
- Display cabinets or shelving to highlight collectibles
Not ideal for
- General room lighting – this is a task light, not a primary ceiling fixture
- Damp or wet locations – rated for dry locations only
How bright is it?
210 lumens – about as bright as a 15W incandescent bulb, suitable for accent or task lighting over a small counter area, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
5000K cool daylight – a crisp, energizing white that mimics midday sun. Excellent for task areas where color accuracy matters. CRI 90 ensures colors appear vivid and natural. Fully dimmable for adjustable brightness.
