Description
A 21-inch tall path light in Textured Black finish, designed for landscape lighting along pathways and garden beds.
This 12V path light from Kichler features a thick cast aluminum construction with a glass lensed dome. The one-point shade connection makes installation easy. It accepts various lamp options (G4 bi-pin bulbs) to customize color temperature and lumen output, allowing for a tailored landscape lighting design.
Best for
- Pathways and walkways, spaced 6-8 feet apart for even illumination
- Garden beds and flower borders to highlight plants and features
- Driveways and entryways for safety and ambiance
- Low-voltage landscape lighting systems (12V)
Not ideal for
- Indoor use - this fixture is designed for outdoor wet locations
- Areas requiring bright task lighting - this is a path light for accent and safety
- Installation without a low-voltage transformer (12V required)
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used. The fixture accepts up to a 20W xenon G4 bulb (not included), producing approximately 200-300 lumens. For LED options, a 2-3W G4 LED provides similar light output with lower energy use. This is suitable for subtle path lighting, not floodlighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb chosen. Warm white (2700K-3000K) creates a soft, inviting glow for pathways. The glass lensed dome diffuses light evenly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 6.75 inches long, 6.75 inches wide, 21 inches tall. The fixture stands 21 inches above ground when installed. Suitable for use with standard low-voltage landscape lighting systems.
