Description
A 12-inch steel fan downrod in Antique Satin Silver, designed to extend your ceiling fan to the ideal height for rooms with high ceilings.
This Kichler downrod is a simple, functional accessory that lets you lower your ceiling fan for better airflow and aesthetics. Made of durable steel with an Antique Satin Silver finish, it matches many Kichler fan finishes and installs easily between the fan motor and mounting bracket.
Best for
- Ceiling fans in rooms with ceilings 9 ft or higher, where a standard 3-6 in downrod leaves the fan too high
- Matching Kichler fans finished in Antique Satin Silver or similar silver tones
- Replacing a shorter downrod to improve air circulation in living rooms, bedrooms, and great rooms
Not ideal for
- Ceilings under 8 ft - the 12 in drop may place the fan too low for safe clearance
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings without an angled ceiling adapter (sold separately)
Style and finish
The Antique Satin Silver finish offers a muted, brushed silver look that complements both traditional and contemporary fan designs. The steel construction provides strength and stability.
Materials and care
Made of steel with a painted finish. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the finish.
