Description
A 24-inch extension downrod for ceiling fans, finished in weathered steel powder coat, designed to lower your fan to the ideal height.
This Kichler downrod is made of durable steel with a weathered steel powder coat finish that resists corrosion and blends with many fan styles. It extends your fan by 24 inches, helping you achieve proper airflow and clearance in rooms with high or vaulted ceilings.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings 10 ft or higher where a standard downrod is too short
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings needing extra drop to position the fan at optimal height
- Replacing an existing downrod to match a weathered steel finish
Not ideal for
- Ceilings under 8 ft where a flush mount or shorter downrod is required
- Fans requiring a 1/2-inch diameter downrod (this is 1-inch O.D.)
Sizing and fit
This downrod measures 24 inches in length and 1 inch in outer diameter. It fits most standard ceiling fans that accept a 1-inch O.D. downrod. Weight is 6 lbs.
