Description
A bare-bulb mini pendant from the Whitney Collection, finished in matte black with a 10-foot rope cord - ideal for kitchen islands and bar areas.
The Whitney pendant embraces the industrial restoration-vintage aesthetic with a simple, exposed bulb design. The matte black socket cover and rope cord add a rugged, authentic feel, while the amber-tinted bulb (included) casts a warm, nostalgic glow. The 10-foot cord allows for versatile hanging heights, and the fixture is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Bar areas or counter seating, providing focused light
- Industrial lofts or rustic interiors, adding vintage character
- Covered porches or sunrooms - rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, even illumination - this is a single accent light
- Formal dining rooms - the industrial style may clash with traditional decor
How bright is it?
The included 60-watt incandescent bulb produces 220 lumens - about as bright as a 25-watt incandescent, ideal for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The bulb has a color temperature of 2200K - an extra-warm, amber glow that creates a cozy, vintage atmosphere. With a CRI of 99.9, it renders colors exceptionally accurately, making it great for highlighting artwork or decor.
Sizing and fit
The fixture is compact, with an overall height of 2.75 inches and a diameter of 2 inches. The canopy is 0.75 inches high and 4.75 inches in diameter. The 10-foot rope cord allows hanging heights from 4.75 inches to 120 inches, and it is sloped ceiling adaptable.
