Description
A 15-inch two-light bathroom vanity light in satin nickel with clear glass shades, for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Utopia vanity light from Innovations Lighting features a modern, geometric design with a sharply squared frame softened by round glass holders. The satin nickel finish and clear cylindrical glass shades create a clean, architectural look that complements contemporary and farmhouse styles. It is wall-mounted with a heavy cast backplate and can be mounted up only.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror for even task lighting.
- Powder rooms where a compact, stylish fixture adds a modern touch.
- Hallways or entryways as a decorative wall light.
- Bedrooms flanking a mirror or artwork for ambient lighting.
- Commercial restrooms or dressing rooms needing durable, attractive lighting.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet locations.
- Spaces requiring bright, focused task lighting - each socket supports up to 100W, but the fixture is best for ambient light.
- Installation where downward mounting is required - this fixture is designed for up-only mounting.
How bright is it?
With two 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), the fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a 100-watt incandescent. This is sufficient for bathroom vanity lighting, providing bright, even illumination.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. With standard incandescent bulbs, the light is warm and inviting. For a cooler, more energizing light, use LED bulbs with a higher color temperature.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6.38 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 11.63 inches high, with an extension of 6.38 inches. The backplate is 15 inches wide and 4.75 inches high, fitting standard junction boxes. It is designed for vertical orientation and wall mounting.
