Description
A 6-inch, 1-light wall sconce from the Utopia Collection, finished in polished nickel with a matte white glass shade - ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and accent lighting.
The Utopia wall sconce features a modern, geometric design with a sharply squared-off frame softened by a round glass holder that secures a cylindrical matte white glass shade. Its polished nickel finish and clean architectural elements make it a versatile addition to contemporary, farmhouse, or restoration-vintage interiors. This fixture is designed to mount with the bulb facing up only.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level for ambient lighting
- Bedrooms, placed beside the bed as a reading light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for accent lighting
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings under 7 feet, as the 12-inch height may feel imposing
- Areas needing bright task lighting, as this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W bulb (not included), providing ample light for accent and ambient purposes. With an LED bulb, you can achieve a bright, energy-efficient glow. The actual lumen output depends on the bulb you choose.
Light color and feel
The matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The light color depends on the bulb you select; for a cozy feel, choose warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This wall sconce measures 6 inches wide, 11.63 inches high, and extends 6.38 inches from the wall. It is designed for wall mounting with the bulb facing up. The backplate is 6 x 7.88 x 0.75 inches, and the shade dimensions are 4.25 x 4.25 x 8.25 inches. Ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces.
