The Preston Bulb collection combines industrial aesthetics with modern versatility. This island light features a polished chrome finish on steel and cast brass construction, with four mercury glass globe shades that diffuse light beautifully. The stem-hung design allows height adjustment from 20.25 to 44.25 inches, making it adaptable to various ceiling heights. With its damp location rating, it's suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.

How bright is it?
With four medium-base sockets (E26), brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using recommended 60W ST64 vintage bulbs, expect approximately 2400-3200 lumens total, comparable to a 200-250W incandescent equivalent. This provides ample task lighting for a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is your choice. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The mercury glass shades soften and diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend four medium-base ST64 vintage-style bulbs (sold separately).
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms with no direct water exposure. Not for wet locations.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
