Description
A 24-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Preston Collection, finished in satin nickel with mercury glass shades - a striking centerpiece for dining rooms and living spaces.
The Preston chandelier combines vintage charm with modern minimalism. Its jar-shaped, hand-blown glass shades feature delicate fluting, while the sleek satin nickel frame adds a contemporary edge. This fusion creates a visually striking contrast that elevates any room's design.
Best for
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient and task lighting
- Living rooms and great rooms, as a focal point
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings
- Open-plan kitchens, over an island or breakfast bar
- Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it's not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the minimum hanging height is about 21 inches
- Small powder rooms where a 24-inch fixture may overwhelm
How bright is it?
This chandelier uses six bulbs (not included) with a maximum of 100 watts per socket. With LED bulbs, you can achieve 800-1600 lumens per bulb, providing ample illumination for dining and living areas. The actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a subtle, shimmering effect that adds elegance. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 23.88 inches wide, 23.88 inches deep, and 13.75 inches high. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a customizable hanging length of up to 30 inches. The overall height ranges from 21 to 45 inches, making it suitable for standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
