Description
A 24-inch wide, 6-light chandelier from Innovations Lighting's Preston collection, finished in matte black with mercury glass shades - ideal for dining rooms and living rooms.
The Preston chandelier combines vintage charm with a modern edge. Its sleek matte black frame holds six hand-blown mercury glass shades, creating a striking visual contrast. The fixture is damp rated, dimmable, and includes stems for customizable hanging lengths. With a 90-degree hang straight swivel, it works on sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Dining rooms, centered over a 48-60 inch table
- Living rooms with 8-foot or higher ceilings
- Open-concept areas where a statement light is needed
- Industrial, modern, or transitional interiors
- Damp locations like covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large fixture meant for a primary space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full hanging length
- Spaces where a bright, task-oriented light is required - this is accent/ambient lighting
How bright is it?
Each of the six sockets is rated for up to 100 watts, but the lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. With six 60W incandescent bulbs, you'd get about 4,200 lumens total - bright enough for a dining room or living room. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable bulbs.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light color and intensity to suit the mood. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. For a vintage feel, use Edison bulbs with a warm color temperature (2700K-3000K).
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 23.88 inches long by 23.88 inches wide by 13.75 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 21 to 45 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 feet or higher. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling adaptable.
