Description
A 24-inch, six-light jar stem chandelier from Innovations Lighting, finished in brushed brass with mercury glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
This jar-shaped glass fixture, with delicate fluting, offers a nod to vintage charm while maintaining a modern edge with the sleek Arcadia frame. The fusion of the jar silhouette and the minimalist frame creates a striking visual contrast that will elevate any room's design. The brushed brass finish and mercury glass shades add a touch of industrial elegance, making it a versatile piece for transitional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 5-7 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8, centered above the table for a warm, inviting glow
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture defines the space
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 feet or higher, adding a touch of vintage charm
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so it should not be installed where it will be sprayed directly
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches and may feel too low
- Rooms requiring a single, bright primary light source - this chandelier is best for ambient and accent lighting
How bright is it?
With six sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, the total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect around 4,200 lumens - comparable to a bright living room light. For a softer glow, opt for LED or lower-wattage bulbs.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not determine light color; it depends on the bulbs. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright to intimate.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 23.88 inches in length and width, with a height of 13.75 inches. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing for a customizable hanging length of up to 30 inches. The overall height can range from 21 to 45 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 feet and higher. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 pounds.
