Description
A 24-inch wide, 6-light chandelier in antique brass with clear glass shades, perfect for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Preston collection fuses vintage charm with modern minimalism. The jar-shaped glass shades, with delicate fluting, contrast beautifully with the sleek Arcadia frame in antique brass. This chandelier adds a striking visual element to any space, blending industrial and transitional styles.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 foot table, hung 30-36 inches above the surface
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 4-6 foot island
- Entryways and foyers with two-story ceilings, using the adjustable stems to reach the right height
- Living rooms and great rooms with vaulted ceilings, thanks to the sloped ceiling adapter
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this chandelier needs space to make an impact
- Outdoor uncovered areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch stem length - consider a flush mount instead
How bright is it?
With six 100-watt sockets, this chandelier can produce up to 600 watts of incandescent light - roughly 8,000 lumens. That's bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a dining room or kitchen. Using LED bulbs (e.g., 9W each) will provide ample light while reducing energy use.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a softer evening ambiance. Compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs; a T-series bulb is recommended for best appearance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 24 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 14 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 21 to 45 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This chandelier is sloped ceiling adaptable and requires partial assembly.
