Description
A 24-inch, 6-light globe chandelier in polished nickel with clear glass shades, perfect for dining rooms and living rooms.
The Preston collection features a sleek, modern design with hand-blown glass globes that add a touch of elegance. The polished nickel frame is streamlined, allowing the clear glass shades to take center stage. This chandelier is versatile, fitting both contemporary and transitional interiors. It's a chic addition to any space, offering both form and function.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8, centered over the table
- Living rooms with high ceilings, hung as a focal point
- Entryways or foyers with a two-story ceiling
- Bedrooms with a seating area, hung over a reading nook
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas with direct water exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop - the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Spaces where you prefer a linear or rectangular fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture is rated for six 100-watt incandescent bulbs (not included), which typically produce around 1600 lumens each, totaling about 9600 lumens - enough to brightly light a large dining room or living room. If you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can set the light level from bright task lighting to a softer, more intimate ambiance. The polished nickel finish adds a cool, reflective quality that complements both warm and cool color palettes.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 23.88 inches in diameter and 12 inches high. The height is adjustable from 21 to 45 inches, making it suitable for most ceiling heights. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter and 0.88 inches high. It weighs 6 pounds, so ensure your ceiling can support the weight.
