Description
A 24-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Preston Collection, finished in brushed brass with mercury glass bell shades - designed for dining rooms and foyers.
The Preston chandelier combines elongated bell-shaped glass with a sleek metal frame, creating a timeless yet modern silhouette. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the brushed brass finish brings warmth and elegance. Hand-blown glass and a 90-degree swivel make it adaptable to sloped ceilings. This fixture is dimmable and compatible with a variety of bulb types.
Best for
- Dining rooms over a 4-6 person table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Foyers and entryways with ceilings 8 feet or higher, making a striking first impression
- Living rooms with a seating area, providing ambient and accent lighting
- Open kitchens with an island, hung in a cluster or as a single statement
- Industrial, transitional, and modern-contemporary interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 45-inch drop
- Spaces where a low-profile fixture is required - this chandelier has a minimum height of 21 inches
How bright is it?
With six 60-watt equivalent bulbs (not included), this chandelier can produce up to 4,200 lumens - enough to illuminate a medium to large dining room or foyer. For a softer glow, use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light into a warm, even glow. For a classic warm white, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs; for a crisper, more modern feel, opt for 3500K-4000K. The fluted glass adds texture and reduces glare, making it comfortable for dining and conversation areas.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 23.88 inches in diameter and 13.75 inches high, with an adjustable height from 21 to 45 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 lbs. It suits ceilings 8 feet and higher, and is sloped ceiling adaptable.
