Description
A 24-inch, six-light chandelier from the Preston Collection, finished in antique brass with mercury glass shades, designed for dining rooms and foyers.
This chandelier features elongated bell-shaped glass with fluted detailing, paired with a sleek Arcadia frame. The mercury glass adds a touch of sophistication and texture, while the antique brass finish enhances its modern appeal. Perfect for adding a refined yet functional light fixture to your home.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 48-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Two-story foyers and entryways, making a statement with its 24-inch width
- Open-concept living areas where it can serve as a central ambient light
- Kitchens with a large island, providing even illumination across the workspace
- Bedrooms with high ceilings, adding a touch of classic charm
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Areas where you need a flush mount or close-to-ceiling installation
How bright is it?
With six sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, the total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling about 4800 lumens - enough to brightly light a large dining room or foyer. For a softer ambiance, use lower-wattage bulbs or a dimmer.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level to suit your mood. The mercury glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, warm glow. You can choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy feel or cool white (4000K) for a more energetic atmosphere. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 23.88 inches in diameter and 13.75 inches in height. It comes with one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing you to customize the hanging length from 21 to 45 inches. The included 90-degree swivel makes it suitable for sloped or vaulted ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
