Description
A 24-inch six-light stem chandelier in satin nickel with clear glass globe shades, perfect for dining rooms and living spaces.
The Preston collection features a classic bulb-shaped glass with beautiful fluting, complemented by the slim and stylish frame. The combination of the rounded silhouette and sleek design makes this fixture a perfect choice for modern and transitional interiors, creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables seating 4-6, hung 30-36 inches above the table for ambient light
- Living rooms with standard 8-9 foot ceilings, as a central focal point
- Open-plan areas where a statement chandelier defines the space
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 foot ceilings, creating a welcoming focal point
- Covered patios or porches, as it is damp-rated for covered outdoor areas
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Small spaces under 8x8 feet, as the 24-inch width may be proportionally large
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It uses six medium-base bulbs (E26), each rated for up to 100 watts. With typical 60W incandescent equivalents (about 800 lumens each), you can expect around 4800 lumens total - similar to a 300W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
The fixture does not determine color temperature; it depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The clear glass shades allow the bulb to be visible, so consider vintage-style filament bulbs for a decorative look.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 23.88 inches long, 23.88 inches wide, and 12.75 inches high. It hangs from stems, with a minimum height of 21 inches and a maximum of 45 inches. It is sloped ceiling adaptable with a 90-degree swivel. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
