Description
A 6-inch semi-flush mount with a mercury glass bell shade and brushed satin nickel finish, perfect for hallways and entryways.
The Preston semi-flush mount from Innovations Lighting features an elongated bell-shaped glass shade with a mercury finish, adding a touch of vintage elegance. The sleek Arcadia frame in brushed satin nickel complements the fluted glass, creating a refined yet modern look. This fixture is ideal for spaces with lower ceilings where a flush mount is needed but you want a bit more presence.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without overwhelming the space
- Bedrooms and living rooms seeking a subtle, vintage-inspired accent
- Damp locations like covered porches or bathrooms, as it is damp-rated
- Industrial or transitional interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass details
- Spaces where a flush mount is required but you want a touch of sophistication
Not ideal for
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Large open areas needing bright, widespread illumination, as it's a single-bulb fixture
- Spaces requiring a very modern, minimalist look, as the mercury glass adds a vintage feel
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, providing ample light for a hallway or small room. If using LED, choose a bulb with your desired lumen output.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade will diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 13.25 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. It's designed for standard 120V wiring and requires partial assembly. The fixture weighs 2.7 lbs, making it easy to install on standard ceiling boxes.
