Description
A 6-inch semi-flush mount with a hand-blown mercury glass bell shade, finished in polished nickel, for bedrooms and hallways.
The Preston collection pairs an elongated bell-shaped glass shade with a sleek metal frame, creating a timeless yet modern look. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the polished nickel finish enhances its contemporary appeal. This fixture is perfect for adding refined, functional lighting to your home.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted as a central light
- Hallways and entryways, providing ambient light
- Dining areas and living rooms, as a stylish accent
- Spaces with a modern or transitional decor
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, flattering glow. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 13.25 inches in height, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It mounts directly to the ceiling, so it won't intrude on headroom.
