Description
A 6-inch bell mini pendant with a hand-blown mercury glass shade and brushed brass metal frame, ideal for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and entryways.
The Preston bell mini pendant features a classic bulb-shaped glass with beautiful fluting, finished in a reflective mercury tone. The brushed brass frame and gold cord add a touch of elegance, making this fixture a perfect choice for modern and transitional interiors. The mercury glass creates a unique, mirror-like effect that adds depth and interest.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or solo for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its reflective mercury glass
- Coffee bars and sideboards, adding a touch of glamour
- Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated for open water spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length - the cord can be cut to fit, but the fixture itself is 11.5 inches tall
How bright is it?
This pendant accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The actual lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, similar to a bright reading lamp. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade has a reflective, slightly tinted finish that will soften and diffuse the light, creating a warm, ambient glow. The light color is determined by the bulb you select; a 2700K-3000K LED bulb will produce a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 6.25 inches wide and 11.5 inches tall, with a shade that is 6.25 inches in diameter and 7.75 inches high. It comes with 120 inches of cord that can be cut to your desired length, allowing for installation on sloped ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This size works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways.
