This island light combines vintage charm with modern elegance. The jar-shaped glass shades, with delicate fluting, are hand-blown and sit on a sleek metal frame. The brushed satin nickel finish adds a contemporary touch, making it a versatile piece for various decor styles.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, providing bright task lighting
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks, creating a warm ambiance
- Open-concept living areas, serving as a stylish focal point
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations, but not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need the full 38.75-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With four sockets rated for up to 100W each, you can achieve a bright, functional light. For reference, four 60W incandescent bulbs would provide about 3200 lumens, suitable for a large kitchen island.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright and airy feel. If you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, you can adjust the brightness to suit different occasions.
Sizing and fit
This island light measures 48 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 12.63 inches high, with a height range of 14.75 to 38.75 inches. The canopy is 6.25 inches wide. It is designed for kitchen islands and can be adjusted to fit your ceiling height.
