Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms over a 6-8 person table, providing ambient light
- Open-plan living areas where a statement light is needed
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings - includes a 90-degree swivel
- Covered patios or porches - rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 38.75-inch drop
- Rooms requiring bright, focused task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With four medium-base sockets, you can use up to 100W equivalent LED bulbs (not included) to achieve your desired brightness. For a kitchen island, we recommend 800-lumen bulbs per socket for ample task lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The clear glass globes showcase the bulb shape, adding a modern touch. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the ambiance with a compatible dimmer switch.
