Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light from the Preston Collection, finished in polished nickel with clear fluted glass globes - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This island light combines clear, fluted glass globes with a streamlined polished nickel frame, creating a timeless, elegant look. The hand-blown glass and sleek metalwork make it a chic focal point for modern and transitional kitchens. Includes stems for adjustable hanging length and a 90-degree swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, providing bright, even illumination over food prep and dining
- Dining room tables, hung 30-36 inches above the surface for ambient light
- Open-concept living areas, as a statement piece that bridges kitchen and dining zones
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Breakfast bars and peninsulas, adding a polished focal point
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large, statement fixture meant for open spaces
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose (not included). With four 100W incandescent equivalents, it can provide ample light for a kitchen island or dining table. For LED, choose 800-1100 lumens per bulb for a bright, functional space.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K LEDs. For a cooler, more energizing light, opt for 3500K-4000K. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
