Description
A 48-inch wide, 4-light island pendant from the Preston Collection, finished in brushed brass with clear fluted glass shades - perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Preston Collection features globe-shaped glass with intricate fluting detailing, creating a timeless look that pairs elegantly with the streamlined frame. The balance between the curves of the glass and the sleek metal frame makes this fixture a chic addition to any space, offering both form and function.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop
- Dining rooms over a table, providing ambient and task lighting
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings - includes a 90-degree swivel
- Damp locations such as covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 48-inch wide fixture would overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 38.75-inch hanging height
How bright is it?
This fixture is designed for four bulbs (not included), each up to 100 watts. With LED bulbs, you can achieve a bright, energy-efficient light output - approximately 4000 lumens total with 10W LEDs, ideal for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
With LED bulbs, you can choose your color temperature. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K bulbs; for a brighter, more energizing light, use 4000K. The clear glass shades diffuse light evenly, reducing glare.
