Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light with mercury glass shades and a brushed brass frame - a statement piece for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Preston collection combines elongated bell glass shades with a sleek Arcadia frame, creating a timeless yet modern look. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture, while the brushed brass finish brings warmth. This island light is designed to illuminate large surfaces with elegance.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung centered above the counter
- Dining room tables, providing ambient and task lighting
- Large entryways and foyers with high ceilings
- Covered patios and porches - damp-rated for moisture resistance
- Open-plan living areas, defining the dining or kitchen zone
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens or islands under 4 ft - the 48-inch width may overwhelm
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft - minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches
How bright is it?
Designed for four 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), but compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. Total lumen output depends on bulb choice; with four 100W equivalent LEDs, expect bright, ample light for a large island.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on bulb; mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. Dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
